Does the job
Ok so I got these in the mail just as I was walking out the door for a trip, so I took them as my only jeans. This review is post road-trip, post airplane, post lots of walking and lots of rain. They held up nicely- thick enough to be warm, lightweight and comfortable enough to sleep in on an airplane, they dried out pretty quickly for jeans. I’m short waisted so I love that OL offers mid rise, and the fit on me looks like “a regular pair of jeans” which is pretty hard to find on my body type (hourglass with big waist to hip ratio and muscular legs). The downside is this: I got my usual size 27, and had to take them in at the waist immediately for them to actually fit mid rise- which I expected because of the whole waist to hip ratio thing. But then within an hour of wearing them they had slid down again. So in order to get the mid rise fit (and for the pockets to look alright in the back) I’m going to have to take them in again, a total of several inches. It’s. . . fine, I still like them, but if you’re curvier think of these as low loose jeans and size yourself accordingly. I wouldn’t size down because I don’t want the legs to be super fitted and the waist still too big (a tragic look in my opinion), so if you’re like me get your hip size and know they’ll be low and slouchy.

My new favorite jeans!
I found these on sale, but would buy them again at full price. They fit exactly as I hoped they would--perfect *boyfriend jeans.* They look cute dressed up or casual, and they seem very high quality. The weight of the denim is just right--not too thick and not too thin. I usually wear jeans size 26 or 27, and I bought size 25. I probably could have gone down to a 24, but I'm happy with how these fit--loose and comfortable. A nice change from tight, skinny jeans.
