Chester Low Rise Slim Straight

Love my Chesters - finally a real low rise jean with minimal stretch! I'm a boot / flare girl, but this is the only current low rise OL has, so I went with it! The button fly is nice - honestly button vs zip doesn't bother me at all. I sized down from a normal 27 to a 26 (I wear a 26 in Crosby too) for the Dark Aged Vintage wash, and I'm glad I did! I could probably even go down to a 25 in these, but I like a more relaxed fit. They are a little long on me even though it's a 30" inseam, so I will probably cut to a raw hem. For reference, I'm 5'2", roughly 140 lbs, athletic build (thicker thighs for sure), with normal torso and short little legs! This is my second pair of OL and I would LOVE them with a wider leg and a lighter wash like the 4 year vintage OR the vintage worn (which is currently out of stock). Might get the Vintage Worn when it restocks. I also have the Dylan Maxi skirt, and it's amazing! The only return I've made with OL is a dark wash pair of Crosby that I tried in petite - the rise felt the same, but the rest of the jean fit tighter and it just wasn't my jam - the return was easy though!

I am a total denim snob! I have owned every high-end brand that’s ever been made. I’m constantly searching for the “dream pair” of jeans! I usually always go back to Levi’s because of the quality and fit for my frame. I’m 5’3” and 100lbs. These jeans are perfect in every way! I LOVE the low rise because I always have stomach issues and these sit low enough for them to be comfortable on me all day. They are a medium weight denim with just the right amount of stretch. Love the worn in color as well. My ONLY complaint is the length. I wish they made them in a petite length. However, I do like them rolled up to show off the vintage vibe hem, so I can overlook this minor “flaw”. I actually love these jeans so much that I just bought two more pairs. I plan on ditching 90% of my other jeans due to the fit and comfort of these. So glad I gave this brand a try I will definitely be a returning customer.
